Broadcast Partners

For the first time in Montreal Impact history, all regular-season games will be broadcast live on television. See the 2012 MLS Schedule for dates and times, once it is announced.

IMPACT PARTNER

TVA Sports is the Montreal Impact’s official broadcaster and will carry the bulk of the team’s regular-season games in Major League Soccer. The new network, which officially launched on Sept. 12, will do more than broadcast the games, offering rich, and varied coverage that gives viewers full information about the Impact and the game of soccer through interviews with players, behind-the-scenes reports, and interviews with the team’s owners and with experts.

On Aug. 10, 2011, Major League Soccer and the NBC Sports Group announced a three-year media rights agreement, beginning at the start of the 2012 MLS season and calling for 45 MLS games and four US men’s national team contests, to be televised live across both NBC and NBC Sports Network – formerly known as VERSUS – each season.

Each year, NBC will broadcast two regular-season MLS games, two playoff games and two appearances by the US men’s national team. The NBC Sports Network will televise 38 regular-season games, three playoff games and two US men’s national team matches.

In 2006, ESPN bought the rights to broadcast Major League Soccer games and other related events under an eight-year deal that will conclude in 2014.

ESPN and ESPN2 will broadcast 26 regular-season games as well as three playoff games a year, including the MLS All-Star Game and MLS Cup. The deal also allows televised coverage of the first round of the MLS SuperDraft.

ESPN Deportes presents the ESPN "Game of the Week" with Spanish-language audio.

Galavisión, the leading Spanish-language cable network in the United States, is the sports destination on cable TV for Hispanics.

In 2011, Galavisión and sister channel TeleFutura presented 30 MLS regular-season games, plus the MLS All-Star Game. With several high-profile Mexican soccer figures, including New York's Rafa Márquez and Sporting Kansas City's Omar Bravo, Galavisión and TeleFutura's MLS broadcast schedule in 2011 had an emphasis on the most relevant clubs to their audience.
